Airport Equipment have been proudly manufacturing Jetway® passenger boarding bridges under license to JBT Aerotech since 1974. JBT are the world leaders for passenger boarding bridges and gateway equipment, and Airport Equipment are equipped to tailor a design to your requirements and provide impeccable quality and service.

The Elevating Passenger Boarding Bridge offers options to serve a specific range of aircraft and is often an ideal option where space is limited and where there is not the room to use an Apron Drive Bridge. Utilising Airport Equipments design expertise we are able to offer an optimised layout with capabilities to serve all commercial aircraft currently in operation.

Both electro-mechanical and hydraulic systems are available to suit the operators requirements.

Control systems are PLC based and designed and developed by Airport Equipment using all locally-sourced hardware and sensors from industry leading suppliers. This means that spare parts are always readily available and generally will be off the shelf in most major ports.
